When you get the message that your direct debit mandate has been cancelled by Dunning, it means that your direct debit automatic payment was stopped after repeated failed collection attempts.
Why does this happen?
This usually happens when:
- There was insufficient balance in your account during the direct debit attempt.
- Your bank has refused or withdrawn the direct debit.
- Several payment reminders have been sent without result.
After these failed attempts, the system automatically closes your mandate for further direct debits.
What now?
You can still pay outstanding amounts via the payment button on my.4411.be under ‘Statements’.
Do you want to reactivate direct debit? Go to my.4411.be, under ‘my payment method’ and create a new mandate.
