How do I start and stop a parking session?

Starting and stopping a parking session through the 4411 app is easy. Make sure your license plate is added and you have linked a payment method.

1. Open the 4411 app. Normally you will see your current location right on the home screen.
   
   
2. If you don't see your current location, or you want paid parking at a different location, click on the magnifying glass and select your desired city.
   
   
3. Click on the parking meter closest to your current location. If you only want to park for a few minutes, some zones allow you to choose a free session by checking the box for a free session. Choose the right account (Easy or PRO), and click "Start session." Make sure you select the correct license plate to avoid a fine!
   
   
4. Your parking session has now started. Click "Stop" when you want to end your session.
   
   
5. Your session is now ended. You get an overview of your parking session, which you will find later in your history.

Warning!

Based on the GPS location of your phone, the app will suggest a parking zone. This will always be the closest parking meter but possibly, therefore, the car is not yet parked in this zone. It is therefore important, before starting the session, to double check that the proposed zone is effectively the right one for the location of the car. We obviously understand that it is annoying that the selected zone is not always completely correct, for which we sincerely apologise, unfortunately this margin of error is inherent to technology.

Unfortunately, we cannot intervene in case you chose the wrong zone at your session. Adjusting this afterwards is not possible as this could constitute data fraud.

If you have received a fine because of this wrong geolocation, we kindly ask you to contact the company that issued this fine. Only they are authorised to decide whether or not this mistake is a valid reason for cancelling the fine. The details of this company can be found on the fine.
