How to set the end time of your parking session in advance?

Before starting your parking session, you can use the app to set how long it will last. You have 2 options:

• Start/stop: this button uses the regular parking time in the parking zone you have selected. The automatic end time is always the maximum parking time in that zone.
• Fixed time: this button allows you to adjust the end time of your parking session yourself. By default, it is set to 1 hour after the start of your session, but you can use the slider to bring forward or delay the automatic end time.
  
  If you can park in a zone for more than 24 hours, you will also be able to select a date and the parking session will continue until the next day.
  
  After you have adjusted the end time, the app will display a simulation of the parking rate based on your end time. Please note! This is a simulation; the final rate at the end of your session may differ.

After setting the end time, press the start button to start your parking session. The parking session will then automatically end at the end time you have selected.

Would you like to end your session earlier than the set end time?

That is possible. Under “Current”, you can find your active parking session and press the stop button to end your parking session.

Would you like to park longer than the set end time?

That is also possible.

1. Open your app and click on “Current”
2. Click on “Edit” (or “Edit session” if you have opened the details of your session)
3. Change the end time using the slider

Please note: for certain zones or sessions, it is not possible to set the end time of your parking session in advance, for example: a free session, a day ticket, or in specific zones with a specific rate such as AN991 and AN992 in Antwerp.

If you select Start/Stop, no parking rate will be simulated in advance. However, you can consult the rates in the app.

When you start a parking session by text message or via the website, you will not be able to set an end time in advance. In this case, the maximum parking time for the zone will always be applied automatically.
