If you receive a notification that the number plate recognition settings for your number plate have been changed, this means that another user has added this number plate to their account and enabled number plate recognition for it. This also means that number plate recognition for that number plate has been disabled on your account.
As payment can only be processed via a single account, the link in your own account is automatically deactivated as soon as someone else activates it.
What now?
Do you know who this was and was this a deliberate choice? If so, you can ignore this notification.
If it wasn’t you and you want to reactivate number plate recognition for the relevant number plate in your account, click on ‘Vehicles’ within your account and then on the relevant number plate. On this page, you can reactivate the ‘Number plate recognition’ feature.
